Pantun Hari Lebaran

Pada hari Lebaran ramai takbiran
sepanjang malam tiada henti;
Hidup fana berakhir di kuburan
merindukan engkau sebelum mati

Hari Lebaran bermaaf-maafan
menghapus dosa lahir dan batin
Kalau dengan engkau berhadapan
tidak kuharap lagi yang lain

Hari Lebaran hari yang suci
saat manusia menjadi fitri;
Harap engkau menerimaku kembali
setelah sesat lepas kendali

Saat manusia menjadi fitri
segala dosanya Kauampuni
Setelah sesat di bumi keji
mencari ridhoMu di langit hati.

Pantun Pengantin

Suka pantun ni..mungkin saya boleh beri pada mak nanti ^^

Buah pauh si bunga rampai,
Kilauan bintang sungguh mengasyikkan;
Orang jauh sudahlah sampai,
Selamat datang kami ucapkan.

Tiup serunai di atas kota,
Uda memupuk bunga Melati;
Mula kenal kemudian bercinta,
Cinta tersemai dalam hati.

Amat garang datuk bentara,
Musuh melanggar habis dibenam;
Dulu seorang kini berdua,
Hidup bersama susah senang.

Ayam dara di buat gulai,
Bungkus bekalan letak di bucu;
Riang gembira kedua mempelai,
Semoga berkekalan keanak cucu.

Bauhulu kuih traditional,
Mangkuk timah penuh sarat;
Kalau dahulu tidak kenal,
Sekarang beramah semakin erat.

Ikan di laut asam di darat,
Dalam kuali bertemu jua;
Hati terpaut janji diikat,
Atas pelamin bertemu jua.

Tunduk segala rakyat jelata,
Memberi takzim raja gahari;
Raja rupawan di atas takta,
Duduk memerintah barang sehari.

Sianak dara memakai lokek,
Lokek tersangkut dihujung julai;
Untuk majlis membelah kek,
Jemput bangun kedua mempelai.

Masak mi wap berkepul,
Guna penyejat si kayu jati;
Hari ini kita berkumpul,
Menyampaikan hajat di dalam hati.

Ke Seberang Takir membeli cermin,
Beli ikan dimasak gulai;
Cinta berakhir di jinjing pelamin,
Sama segak kedua mempelai.

Panas kering siapakan tahu,
Hujan rintik di daun pandan;
Berjalan seiring bersentuh bahu,
Sama cantik sama padan.

Feringgi melanggar Inderagiri,
Lalu dibedil oleh laksamana;
Suami ibarat kepala negeri,
Hendaklah adil lagi saksama.

Lebat daun bunga tanjung
Berbau harum bunga cempaka
Adat dijaga pusaka dijunjung
Baru terpelihara adat pesaka

Gadis Acheh berhati gundah
Menanti teruna menghulur tepak
Gula manis sirih menyembah
Adat dijunjung dipinggir tidak

Manis sungguh gula Melaka
Jangan dibancuh dibuat serbat
Sungguh teguh adat pusaka
Biar mati anak jangan mati adat

Anak teruna tiba di darat
Dari Makasar langsung ke Deli
Hidup di dunia biar beradat
Bahasa tidak dijual beli

Menanam kelapa di Pulau Bukum
Tinggi sedepa sudah berbuah
Adat bermula dengan hukum
Hukum bersandar di Kitab Allah

Buah berangan di rumpun pinang
Limau kasturi berdaun muda
Kalau berkenan masuklah meminang
Tanda diri beradat budaya

Laksamana berbaju besi
Masuk ke hutan melanda-landa
Hidup berdiri dengan saksi
Adat berdiri dengan tanda

Berbuah lebat pohon mempelam
Rasanya manis dimakan sedap
Bersebarlah adat seluruh alam
Adat pusaka berpedoman kitab

Ikan berenang di dalam lubuk
Ikan belida dadanya panjang
Adat pinang pulang ke tampuk
Adat sirih pulang ke gagang

Pokok pinang ditanam rapat
Puyuh kini berlari-lari
Samalah kita menjunjung adat
Tunggak budaya semai dihati

Bukan kacang sebarang kacang
Kacang melilit si kayu jati
Bukan datang sebarang hajat
Datang membawa hajat di hati

Budak-budak berlari ke padang
Luka kaki terpijak duri
Berapa tinggi Gunung Ledang
Tinggi lagi harapan kami

Helang berbega Si Rajawali
Turun menyambar anak merbah
Dari jauh menjunjung duli
Sudah dekat lalu menyembah

Angin kencang turunlah badai
Seumur hidup cuma sekali
Tunduk kepala jatuh ke lantai
Jari sepuluh menjunjung duli

Gobek cantik gobek cik puan
Sirih dikunyah menjadi sepah
Tabik encik tabiklah tuan
Kami datang membawa sembah

Doa mustajab selalu terkabul
Kepada Allah kita panjatkan
Sebelum berlangsung ijab dan kabul
Majlis berinai kita dulukan

Tenang-tenang air laut
Sampan kolek mudik ke tanjung
Hati terkenang mulut menyebut
Budi baik rasa nak junjung

Tanam lenggun tumbuh kelapa
Terbit bunga pucuk mati
Budi tuan saya tak lupa
Sudah terpaku di dalam hati

Dari Daik pulang ke Daik
Sehari-hari berkebun pisang
Budi baik dibalas baik
Dalam hati dikenang orang

Kapal belayar dari Arakan
Ambil gaji jadi jemudi
Mati ikan kerana umpan
Mati saya kerana budi

Banyak ubi perkara ubi
Ubi keledek ditanam prang
Banyak budi perkara budi
Budi baik dikenang orang

Lipat kain lipat baju
Lipat kertas dalam puan
Dari air menjadi batu
Sedikit tak lupa budi tuan

Jentayu burung jentayu
Hinggap di balik pokok mayang
Bunga kembang akan layu
Budi baik bilakan hilang

Jika belayar ke tanah Aceh
Singgah dulu di kota Deli
Jika hendak orang mengasih
Hendaklah baik bicara budi

Bunga melati bunga di darat
Bunga seroja di tepi kali
Hina besi kerana karat

Dewa sakti melayang ke Daik
Hendak mencari Dewa Jaruga
Kalau ada budi yang baik

Jangan sampai dimakan rusa

Tingkap papan kayu bersegi
Sampan sakat di Pulau Angsa

Pulau Pandan jauh ke tengah
Gunung Daik bercabang tiga
Hancur badan dikandung tanah
Budi yang baik di kenang juga

Pergi ke sawah menanam padi
Singgah disungai menangkap ikan
Hidup hendaklah bersendikan budi
Sifat sombong jangan amalkan

Apa guna berkain batik
Kalau tidak dengan sucinya?
Apa guna beristeri cantik
Kalau tidak dengan budinya

Bunga melati bunga di darat
Bunga seroja di tepi kali
Hina besi kerana karat
Hina manusia tidak berbudi

Pisang emas dibawa belayar
Masak sebiji di atas peti
Hutang emas boleh dibayar
Hutang budi dibayar mati

Anak merak Kampung Cina
Singgah berhenti kepala titi
Emas perak kebesaran dunia
Budi bahasa tak dapat dicari

Anak angsa mati lemas
Mati lemas di air masin
Hilang bahasa kerana emas
Hilang budi kerana miskin

Yang kurik tu kundi
Yang merah saga
Yang baik itu budi
Yang indah itu bahasa

Limau manis dimakan manis
Manis sekali rasa isinya
Dilihat manis dipandang manis

Cuaca gelap semakin redup
Masakan boleh kembali terang
Budi bahasa amalan hidup
Barulah kekal dihormati orang

Dear Mom

Dear Mom,
You said you'd always be there

But you're nowhere to be found
I can't believe you left me

I feel so low beneath the ground
There's nothing I can do now

I trusted you with all my heart

You're the one who tore my life apart

There's nothing more to say

Love for my Daughter

Pregnancy
Shock, excitement, nerves and wonder
Sleeplessness ensues, my mind wanders...

Opportunity to mold a life so precious, a great responsibility, can I be a success?

Will I be a good mother, someone I am proud to be?
Will I show her the complete, unselfish love that every baby needs?

Giving birth, a TRUE labor of love
My baby is born, a daughter now here
A love is also born, so consuming and near

Almost suffocating, an overwhelming feeling surrounds me
Tears fill my eyes, I hold her so tightly

My love for my daughter, so grand and great
I succumb to my fear, my daughter can't wait

Dad

All those times I cried for you, you never came
Out of all the sports I played

You never showed up at one game
All of the awards I received

I never heard you clap
You were never there

For me to sit on your lap
All the times I fell

and scratched my knee
You were the one who wasn't there

To comfort me
All those times I was bored

And wanted someone to call
You still weren't there

Not there at all
I always tried to make you proud

Hoping you would love me more
but you never seemed to care

So what did I even do it for
You weren't there for any of my firsts

I try to move on

For your own father not to love you

Brothers,

Perfect Mother

I'm not the perfect mother,and this I know is true
I never really took the time to tell you I love you,
I always wanted perfect,the bedrooms and the plates
I never really took the time to stop and appreciate.
I always was too busy,I never really looked,
I expected way too much from you,
even made you read your own books.
I know you saw the mothers who made lemonade and cakes,
who always really took the time to stop and to relate.
You all are young men now i know its much to late.
I wish I was the mother who stopped to make a date.
To make a date to be there,to giggle and to play,
to only worrie what else to do and never hesitate.
I know I hardly said it but this I know is true:
I hope you do believe me when I say that I love You!

To My Beloved

You had a talent for bringing special meaning to life,
It was such a pleasure to be your wife.
You helped me to grow and to realize
The fullness and the beauty in our lives.

Every day I counted my blessings.
Then God called, and you went away
Out of this world to a brighter day.
Suddenly my life of gladness
Turned to utter sadness.

My grief wears me down, I shed so many tears,
As I recall your love and devotion through the years.
For your sake and in memory of your name,
I pray for strength to do things the same.

To reach out, to fill the hours with useful ways,
To comfort, to cheer and have no more empty days.
I try to console myself -- it was God's greater plan,
So I must accept it, if I can.

You moved away to His splendid home above,
If there is life after death,
I know you will be waiting there for me,
With love.

Though Heaven and Earth divide us, and the distance is so great,
I count my blessings for the years you were my mate.
I will live my life remembering, while you wait, slumbering.

The sun rises above the hillcrest,
